I get the ‘mom on the go/fast finger makeup,’ but is applying with your finger really that much faster than straight from the tube? I think not. Why would I want this palette when I can keep a couple of lipstick bullets with me?

The lighter shades wouldn’t show up well on my medium skin tone, so half the palette is kind of a bust.

Great for a beginner makeup artist who wants to do prom, bridal, portrait work.

Light yet buildable color – most applied sheer initially (except the red on the bottom row).

Strong variety of wearable shades for any skin tone.

Pixi + It’s Judy Time Collab Review | It’s Lip Time The pros: Gorgeous smokey shades! Get the Pixi + It’s Judy Time It’s Eye Time Palette ($24) at your local Target or online here. My favorite shades include the two shimmer shades in the third row, Getaway and Ping. The shadows stick to the skin nicely (when using a primer) and wear all day long. Great value great beginner palette if you don’t already own a neutral/warm shadow palette. This is NOT to say Pixi isn’t an amazing value (at nearly $2/shadow), but just wanted to point out you’re not getting double the product or anything

MAC pans ($6/each) are more narrow but hold 1.3g. However, the packaging says each shadow is 1.2g.

These pans are wider than your standard MAC shadow pans – thus appearing like you’re getting a lot of product. Would have been nice to mix it up with a mid tone cool brown or gray. Also, the last two brown shades on the bottom row are nearly identical

Too much similarity in the mid tone matte/transition shades.

Variety of depth of color to transition from day-to-night easily.

Pigmented – but not OVERLY saturated – colors that can be worn sheer or built up.

Wearable neutrals that even a beginner can mix + match and not mess it up.

Pixi + It’s Judy Time Collab Review | It’s Eye Time The pros: I expected her collab to be practical and efficient. Judy started out on YouTube strictly as a beauty vlogger, but currently has two YouTube channels (one for beauty, one for mom life) totaling 2.7MM followers (as of 2/16/17).įrom what I’ve learned watching Judy over the years, she’s become much more no-fuss with her beauty routine and is your typical mom on the go (yet she still loves a bit of glam). They’re fun to watch and follow and seem to be extremely humble, ‘regular’ parents.

Judy is a mom/beauty YouTuber who has three adorable little girls (two are twins) and an equally fabulous husband. There’s definitely some pros and cons to these palettes, so here are my thoughts in this Pixi and It’s Judy Time Collab review… The collab also included a 12-shade It’s Lip Time lip color palette filled with easy-to-wear shades you can apply with a finger. As an eye makeup junkie, I had to know if this 12-shadow palette at $24 was worth it.
